What does managed and secured by OvHosting mean?
Our services are managed and secured within the scope agreed for your configuration. The scope should identify the systems we operate, the tasks we perform and the responsibilities retained by your team. A product label alone is not a complete operating agreement.
Confirm these points in your quote
- Operating system and software covered, including whether application-level troubleshooting is included.
- Access controls, firewall responsibilities, patch planning, monitoring and the process for approving disruptive changes.
- Backup destinations, retention, recovery objectives and restore testing, if backup service is included.
- Support channels, coverage hours, escalation arrangements and any response or availability commitments.
Application changes, third-party licences, migrations and disaster-recovery work may require a separate agreement. If you are unsure whether a task is included, reference your service in a ticket and ask before scheduling it. Security controls reduce risk; they do not make a system immune to compromise.
