Which managed infrastructure service should I choose?

Start with what the application needs: steady capacity, frequent resizing, large memory, GPU acceleration or several isolated virtual machines. A higher monthly price alone does not identify the best fit. Compare the workload against the hardware and the operational scope in your quote.

Match the service to the workload

  • Dedicated servers suit workloads that need a defined physical machine and a predictable hardware configuration. Check the exact CPU, RAM, disks and network allowance.
  • Cloud instances suit virtualised workloads. Confirm the instance family, disk persistence, resizing options and any minimum commitment.
  • Private cloud is appropriate when you need a planned cluster for multiple virtual machines. Include capacity for maintenance and failures.
  • Storage infrastructure focuses on capacity and I/O requirements. Specify whether you need file, block, object or backup storage; these are not interchangeable.

Send us your current resource usage, expected growth, software stack and preferred region. We will use those requirements to confirm a suitable configuration, its availability and the management scope before you proceed.
